Please help me! Why does my throat and roof of my mouth hurt after eating carbs?
The last time I asked, I only got one response. Please help!
I've been on Atkin's diet and I was in ketosis. Well today I blew it and ate McDonalds.... I noticed this before that after being on the Atkins, once I eat a whole bunch of carbs again it's like my throat and roof of my mouth starts hurting!! It only lasts for like ten minutes after I ate all the carbs, but why does this happen??

I really hate always having to say this with the question, but Please! Do not write in here how "I shouldn't be doing Atkin's" and all. I do it the right way, I have a balanced diet, and I do vigorous running and calysthenics 5 times a week. I've lost thirty pounds. I know what I'm doing. Just answer the question please and don't try to lecture me.
