Question: How does an overwieght 12 year old boy lose wieght!?
i'm almost 12!. my hieght is 4'11"!. i'm 182!.2 pounds and i'm trying to keep track of my calories and carbs!. my aunt and uncle took Trimspa and they lost wieght!. maybe i should to!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is mine the bottom one is the normal for a 12 uyear old at my hight but i will check urs and e-mail it to u!.!.!.!. also walk at 3!.00 mph in the morn for 10 mins and in the afternoon for 10!.!.!.!. Do not take anything - it is extremely unsafe and unhealthy even for adults, but especially for kids!.

The best way to go is diets and exercise!. I wouldn't worry too much about the carbs, mostly calories!. As long as at least 3/4 of the carbs you eat are whole grain, you should be fine!. Check labels for "Whole Durum Wheat" listed as the first ingredient!.

As far as counting calories goes, you're a growing boy, so don't starve yourself! I would aim to consume about 2,000 calories daily at your age, and make sure to eat LOTS of fruits and veggies!. When you have lunch and dinner, try to make sure at least half of your plate is covered by fruits or vegetables and it will help a lot!.

Also, don't eat until you're full!. Just eat until you're no longer hungry anymore!. This takes a lot more practice than you'd think - it's actually pretty tricky! Eat very slowly, don't rush!. When you stop feeling hungry, stop eating!. Also make sure to have small healthy snacks in between your meals, it will help curb your hunger!.

Please make sure to not starve yourself! This is actually extremely unhealthy and can lead to long term eating problems!. Also, if you consume too few calories, your body will go into starvation mode because it will think it is in danger of starving and it will slow your metabolism WAY down, burning fewer calories!.

Try to get out there and have fun! Get outside! Cut TV/Video game time to just 1-2 hours per day, and the rest of the time be doing something active!. Buy a bike and ride it around!. Go jogging!. Try some crunches, or jumping jacks!. Play ball with a friend!. Not only will being active help you lose weight, it will also get your heart healthy!

Please don't feel that you need to get rid of the weight fast!. If you lose between 1 and 2 pounds a week you're on the right track! Anything more than that and you will typically gain it back anyway!.

No not really, see if you can get a membership to a gym or maybe the ymca, there you should concentrate strictly on cardio!. As long as you eat well and watch what you eat, count your calories, and between 30 minutes to an hour of cardio a day and you will see your weight drop!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you need to eat less, and move more!. i would cut your portions in half, and exercise every single day!. find a sport you like or simply walk!. i would not do trimspa at your age!. you just need to break some bad habits and stop eating junk food, cut your portions and move, move move!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

No!. As a 12 year old kid!. you definatly wanna do it healthy ways!. your still growing!. I would start eating healthy and maybe set up a workout calender!. but keep it healthy!. you dont want to do it unhealthy at such a young ageWww@Answer-Health@Com

Trimspa, alli, hydroxycut, and hoodia are all excellent weight loss supplements for adults over 18 years of age!.
Since your only 12 these products will not only NOT work for you, but they will probably slow your development and seriously harm your body!.

If your serious about losing weight, please know that finding extra support, whether through family, friends, or professions may be key!.

First, I would recommend seeing a nutritionist!.
She will be able to take a look at your everyday diet to see whether it's the food your eating that's causing your weight problem!.
She will then be able to form meal plans for you that will help you reach your weight loss goal!.
(ask your parents or whomever for seeing a nutritionist)

Then I would recommend seeing either a doctor or personal trainer at a gym to help form an exercise plan!.
Depending on your situation, 5 days a week, an hour of cardio each day, may be good!. But it is best to ask a professional since each individual's health needs are different!.

A lot of people hear recommend "Just going outside and playing" and while it's true any form of outside "playing" or activity is good!.!.!. sometimes it's just not enough for someone with a slow metabolism or eating problem!.
