How much sleep is ideal when one reaches midlife?!


Question: How much sleep is ideal when one reaches midlife!?
We've all heard the research that teens require ten hours and that senior citizens require seven hours or less!. But what about us folks in the middle!? I'm 49 and have been trying different routines!. I've tried getting anything from four hours to eleven hours!.!.!. nothing really seems ideal!. Anyone have something that's working for them!? My experience is no matter how many hours!. !. !. get a bedtime routine!. Try to go to bed at the same time every night and get up at the same time in the morning!. Even on weekends!. The ideal amount of sleep is 8 hours per night!. However remember that if you don't get 8 hours!. !. !. lets say tonight you only get 6 hours!. !. !. then you have put yourself in a 2 hour deficit!. So even if you get 8 hours tomorrow night you are still 2 hours behind on your sleepWww@Answer-Health@Com

41 and female here!. I sleep well from the start, but wake up all night long!. I get stuck around 5am and can't get back to sleep after that!. I feel tired all the time, but I am also going thru the 'change" and feel prego most of the time anyway!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
