Abdominal exercises will improve core strength and help with back problems and posture, but the real trick will be to lose body fat. It sounds like you are already exercising, so continue. The hard but effective way is to have a healthy low fat diet and depending on how committed you are, about 90 mins a day of good workouts. Include some rowing machine and a bit of running (get your heart rate to about 65-75% of max for your age and maintain it for the duration - no need to go flat out unless you want to improve your cardiovascular fitness). For chiselled abs, decreasing body fat and continuing a range of abdominal exercises should do the trick. Vary your exercises to give yourself a bit of a change so it doesn't get too boring. Another good exercise that will help will be the skipping rope - if you haven't tried before don't get discouraged, it'll come with practice. Enjoy!
