How you count the calories in your food?!


Question: How you count the calories in your food!?
Hello,
I am trying to gain weight, so i am trying to count my calories intake each day!. But it is confusing for me, how do you count your calories, i mean if you go to sites, it gives you calories in some amount of grams or cups, how do you count your calories, do you measure what you eat!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I usually estimate!. For example, if I know Almonds are approx!. 300 calories for about 3 oz!., I know if I have a small handful, I'll count that as 100!.

Consider this: most things you eat aside from Veggies, are 100 calories per serving!. You can round up as you see fit!. Also, make sure you are aware that sugary foods are high calories, which is why fruit, although complex carbs, are usually 100 calories per serving!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Are you young!?
If so I suggest not trying to gain weight because you'll naturally gain it as you get into your 20's/30's!.

But read your nutritional facts on the container!.
It could say 'serving size 2 pieces' And that's how many calories it is for that!.!. Just kind of guess with that type stuff!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you have a serving size for everything you eat!. calories are measured by your serving size!. say your serving size is 1 cup of cereal and your calories are 100!. that means 100 calories per 1 cup of cereal!.
so if you measure what you eat you know your calorie intake!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

there are websites to look at foods that dont have nutrition facts (raw foods that dont come out of a box)!. but otherwise you can measure out a serving and then look at the nutrition facts to see how many calories are in the foods youre eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
