jimmie_b is absolutely right!. You MUST get the peanut butter with the oil that floats on top!. If you get the kind that you can place on your shelf after you open it then its probably bad for you!. The reason they are bad for you is hydrogenated corn oil!. The manufacturer does this to make the product more stable!. This is good if you want to store your peanut butter on the shelf and not have it go bad for months (probably)!. On the other hand if your eating peanut butter for a healthy food choice then you need to get the natural pb!.

Remember that PB is calorie dense and high in fat so watch your servings if your attempting to lose weight or your watching your calorie intake!.

Natural peanut butter is very healthy for you!. It is loaded with good fats, protein and is very filling!. Make sure to get the kind that has only the ingredients: peanuts, salt!.

If all you have been eating is the regular Jif stuff, it will take a couple times eating the natural kind to get used to it!. It is a different taste and texture!. It is very good, it has a real good peanut taste, it's just different than the Jif stuff!.

But, once you start eating the natural kind, if you open up a jar of Jif, it will smell "fake"!. It really does!Www@Answer-Health@Com

It depends on what kind you get!. First of all whatever kind you get it has alot of protein which is good, but if you get some name brand like jiffy or jiff or whatever its called then it has alot of fat and processed stuff thats bad for you, but my dad gets this natural peaunut butter whichjsut has only peanuts in it and you have to stir it and keep it in the refrigeratior and its natural so thats better for you plus no processed oils and fatsWww@Answer-Health@Com

it is pretty good for you!. especially if you get the natural, organic kind without all the sugars!. it is high in fat, but it is the good fat, not the bad saturated or trans fat!. it is also high in protein!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
