How do you get and stay motivated to exercise and eat right?!


Question: How do you get and stay motivated to exercise and eat right!?
I would usually start a diet for a day and end up breaking it the next!. And I'm just not motivated to get up and exercise!. I have tried buying smaller clothers and even a 2 piece bikini!. I've also tried rewarding myself, but nothing seems to work!. I also have a problem with eating one thing bad for me and then I feel guilty so I go and eat more crappy foods!.!.!.!. and tons of it!.!.!. literatlly!. I have tried all kinds of diets and exercise plans but I just can't seem to stick to them and get motivated!. Can someone please give me suggestions and advice to fix these problems!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Diets don't work!. They result in exactly the sort of guilty swings you describe!. Instead of thinking about weight loss, which is a temporary goal, think about living a healthy lifestyle!. I have a wicked sweet tooth, I've found that water and baby carrots are the best things to stop it once I've gotten it going!. Try to keep something that's healthy, filling, and cleanses the pallet nearbye in case you get an urge!.

Make your workouts fun! Getting on a treadmill sucks, run around the neighborhood instead!. I like to follow the green lights and see where they take me!. It almost always results in a longer run than I'd meant to go on, but its almost always fun!. Get a workout buddy!. Having someone else pushing you does wonders!. But make sure you don't get too chatty!. Also www!.crossfit!.com is a treasure trove of information on seriously effective but fun workouts!.

Weight loss is not a morality issue!. You have to approach it with a possitive mindset, and don't be afraid to spoil yourself every now and then!. However, you do have to commit yourself to living a healthy lifestyle!. Its not easy, but you'll find that it becomes quite addictive in itself!. You'll have more energy, look better, and be able to approach each day with a little extra bounce in your step!.

Take very very small steps, that's the way it worked for me, and trust me, I'm stubborn with this!.

I was telling myself to fit into size 0 pants and a bikini, but it didn't help, instead it would hurt me, and make me gain weight!.

Then i started something new and bought size 18 pants that sorta fit me, and that really motivated me at the gym cuz I gave myself realistic goals, that culd be set in a week or even less!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

simple, fun Fitness rutines, like running every night are always a good place to start!. you will start to get in shape, and it's all downhill from there!. Also, you can sign yourself up for a dance or ice skating class, to bild your confidence and burn calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

are your goals smart!? meaning do you have Specific goals!? how are you going to measure your success with them!? are they attainable!? are they realistic with your life and schedule!? and do you have time!?

1!. try putting up pics of obese people on ur fridge because hopefully you don't want to look like them and it will hopefully help you not to eat bad foods!. it might help you get moving too!.
2!. make exercising fun!. put good music on and try dancing around in your room lol that's a workout!. or try Wii Fit!.
3!. also, you have to see how badly you want this!.

Everytime you think "I'll just skip the gym today" or "just this one little chocolate bar won't kill me", think about how badly you want to fit into those size 2 (idk what your goal size is, just an example) jeans!. Throw away *most* not all, of your junk food!. Replace it with fruits and veggies and chicken!. It will help, trust me!. Set a realistic goal, and then try your hardest to get to it, and if you feel you want to lose more weight, set another realistic goal!. Don't reward yourself until you've reached your goal weight, and when you do reward yourself, only have a 1/2 cup of your favorite treat, like ice cream!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You'll never get to where you want to be until you set some serious goals for yourself!.
1!.Write down your goals on a piece of paper!.
2!.Break down your goals into smaller steps that are easy to follow!.
3!.Share your goals with those you love and care for, they'll help you to stick with them!.
4!.Visualize everyday how you'll look and feel once you complete your goal!.
5!.Do at least one thing every day that leads you to your goal!.
