Will anorexics eat if they are put in a position where they have to, like dinner!

Question:

Will anorexics eat if they are put in a position where they have to, like dinner with family?

Personal experiences with this disorder would be great to hear, thanks in advance

Answers:

I used to starve myself.
In answer to your question, they probably will eat if they run out of excuses like," My dentist told me to fast for two hours." If they do eat, the food will be in very small portions, if they are also bulimic, they might purge themselves later. Now, anorexics are generally not trying to kill themselves, they are just looking for love, happiness, and satisfaction, which they won't find by losing weight. All that is there is fear, depression, and dissatisfaction.
My family, once I got too far, took loving control, and watched my every move, telling me what else to eat, until I finally realized how badly I was treating myself, and that I was making myself unattractive and sickly.
I hope you have the best of luck. God Bless!
