Question: They say starving yourself dosnt make you loose weight!?
im not been funny but i saw these prisoners of war on tv this morning, and they were really thin!.(dont wanna go that far) so whos right!? eat or not eat!? surly if i starve but live on water for a few days id be okWww@Answer-Health@Com

Obviously, if you starve yourself and NEVER eat food like the concentration camp victims, you will lose weight and keep it off!.

What people mean when they say starvation diets won't make you lose weight are the diets where you deprive yourself for a few days/weeks and then eat like you did before!. In that SCENARIO, your body chemistry changes!. Your body goes into a survival mode!.!.!. anticipating (rightly or wrongly) that you are going to go into a starvation situation again!. Therefore, it desperately holds on to every single calorie you take in!.!.!. saving up in anticipation of needing it for the next starvation period!.

That's why what you need to do is eat healthy!.!.!. but with less calories combined with exercise!. Your body does not "sense" starvation, so it does not go into this desperate starvation mode!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

starving youself doesnt work because the body just holds onto fat in case it doesnt get anymore - you need to eat lots of small portions to keep your body's digestive systems working to flush everything through!. Drinks lots of water before and after meals and eat healthy foods!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It will make you lose weight obviously - but the point is that it's not sustainable!. When you start eating again, you'll gain weight very quickly because your body is in panic mode and trying to save all the calories it can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm an ex-anerexic, Starveing yourself will of course make you lose weight, and fast!. but youll put it all back on once you eat normal again!. because your body will enter a panic mode and store every bit of fat it can!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

its better to just go on a diet where you can get meal replacement shakes low on fat and lose like 20 pounds in one month starving yourself and then eating after your going to gain weight and fastWww@Answer-Health@Com

of course it makes u loose weight your body starts eating itself includin fat and muscle!.!.!.but its healthier to loose weight with exercise the fat burns and muscle becomes more toned!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Thats what i do!. i live on water!. works for me=) plsu i feel better in myself!. like i havent given in to food!. just think of all the fatty things they put inside all foods and putyourself off it!. you'll soon notice the differnce in your body figure!! you'll just need the loo like 100x more lol!
