How much should I realistically walk to lose weight?!


Question: How much should I realistically walk to lose weight!?
I need to lose about 25 pounds while I'm, trying to get pregnant!. I have changed my eating habits and lost a few pounds over the last few months, however, the fertility medication causes weight gain!. I work full-time and have two busy-scheduled children so finding time to hit the gym is out of the question!. Also over the last couple months, I've started walking!.!.!.I walk an average of 5!.2 miles/day throughout the day!. I am stuck!.!.!.I haven't gained or lost any weight and I'm still about 20 pounds from my goal!.

I've read so many articles about walking, but for the normal person who works full-time and cares for children!.!.!.what is a realistic goal for daily walking to lose weight!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Good for you for incorporating exercise into your daily routine! I would try incorporating some resistance training instead of adding more walking - some light dumbbells, squats, exercise ball routines, etc!. If you're a member of a gym, you can usually get a consultation to set up a plan for free (or a nominal fee)!. Adding some muscle mass will help you burn more calories throughout the day - even when you're at work and shuttling your kids! Drink lot of water, breath lot of oxygen all day!. Take deep inhalations and deep exhalations!. Be very relaxed in the mind!. Sing songs and dance!. Go home and just dance for 20 minutes with your kids!. Eat healthy diet!.That's it!. You will easily loose all unwanted weight in 2 months!. Give your body also enough time to get healthy!. you should at least take 2000 steps a day and the more the better!.

u could buy one of those step counters and it really helps and if that doesn't work there is a couple other ways such as i went to a special diet doctor and got my blood taken and the next day they gave me a list of foods i should stay away from and it really helped i lost like 10 kgs in a month!.

or u gotta run or bike at least 3 kilometer a day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think that it depends on your speed!. A good walk going about 3!.5 or 4 miles/hour for a half hour or forty five minutes would be sufficient!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
