Protein and carbohydrate dinners?!


Question: Protein and carbohydrate dinners!?
I've read in a diet book that dinner should consist of 50% protein and 50% complex carbohydrates!.

Now I know protein can be found in meat, but I don't relaly like to eat that much meat, anyone think of any meals I can cook without meat that still use the 50/50 protein carbohydrate rule!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Rice and a vegetable like peas combine to make a protein, too!. I don't know about the 50/50 rule, I'm to limit my carbs (diabetic) but you seem to be concentrating on weight loss!. Eggplant and tofu dishes may give you the variety you want and be low-cal!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
