Any exercise at all, for someone who's used to never exercising, is going to help tremendously!.
Your body is so used to being idle that 10-15 minutes would be a great start!. Hopefully, you'll eventually be able to up that to 30-45 minutes or more, and maybe change up exercises as well!.

It is EXCELLENT for you!. It's good for the heart, body and mind!.
10-15 is a great start!. You can generally move to longer times slowly over the next few weeks!.
