Why does microwave popcorn have nutritional information that is different for po!

Question:

Why does microwave popcorn have nutritional information that is different for popped and unpopped?

The nutritional numbers for unpopped contains many fewer calories and fat grams than popped.

Answers:

Because the corn itself isn't that bad but the oils and butter contained in the pack that make it taste better will add to the fat content, higher calories and sodium.

Could also be that digested as the kernel it would barely be digested and swept through your body with the nutritional facts as the average absorption rate.

The popped corn would digest more thoroughly as it is easier outside than the hard shell of the kernel.
