Buying vitamins from the stores compared to vitamin makers?!
Question: Buying vitamins from the stores compared to vitamin makers!?
For example if I buy Vitamin E capsules from Duane Reade, it would be cheaper than the other brands of Vitamin E on their shelves!. Is there any difference!? The Ingredients and everything are the same!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

In the vitamin world the saying you get what you pay for is extremely true!.
Cheaper vitamins are cheaper for several reasons!.
1!. They may use the cheapest version of a specific nutirent to keep the cost down!. This usually means it is not the one that is best for our bodies to use!.
2!. They often use derivatives or extracts rather than entire plant compounds!. This keeps the cost down too but there are much more benefits to the compouds themseves!. Nutrilite discovered this a few decades back and calle them Photofactors!. Since that term is copyrighted other companies have been calling them photonutrients and have only been using them for the last 10 years or so!.
3!. They often use chemicals!. Aritificial ingreidnets to keep costs down!. These too are not as esily used by our bodies!. In some cases they are not used at all!. The biggest thing found in our sewage system is unused vitamin tablets that use fake ingredients!.
4!. The maker may have purchased the cheapest produce to keep the cost down!. Once harvested plants start to loose nutiriton within 4 hours!. Light and heat incrase the amount of nutrient loss!. The quicker the plants can be put in to tablets the better but for most company it is days!. Also the cheaper plants may not have been farmed as well as others so they may have less nutrition even before being harvested!.
5!. Most are not made under pharmasuidical grade!. They may say they have this much of this and this much of that but there is no guarantee!. One month a bottle may have only 70% of what it says another month 125%!.
6!. Are there other things in the supplement to help it!. Many nutrients need other nutrients to work properly!. Calcium needs vitamin D, magnesium and maganses to be used properly!. If not then most of the calcium taken won't be used!.
These are all reasons why when people ask me for recommendations I suggest Nutrilite!. They have thier own certified organic farms!. They harvest the plants and have them in tablet form within the 4 hour window!. They use pharmasuidical grade to make the tablets!. They use the best ingredients for our bodies, not the cheapest!. They test every batch several times for quality and accuracy!.
