Is 2 hours of exercise too much?!


Question: Is 2 hours of exercise too much!?
I am starting an exercise regimin of 1!.5 hours of cardio, and 30 minutes of pilates, 4 days a week!.!.!.most likely Monday-Thursday!. I may add a Sunday in there too!. Is this too much!? I am a healthy 23 year old, 5'3" and 136-139 lbs!. I am disgusted at how I let myself get to this weight, and I keep complaining about it, and now I am going to fix it!. I want to get to about 120-125 lbs!. So I guess I want to lose about 14 lbs!. and I want to tone also, which is why I am doing pilates as well!. My forms of cardio are an elliptical and exercise bike!. And I know that I need to eat healthy and drink plenty of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Kudos to you on wanting to get in shape!. However, if you CAN do 2 hours of cardio, you're not doing it right! :) Give HARD cardio a shot, doing super-intense workouts or about 20 minutes will let you see results much faster!.!.!.and gives you more time to do something with your day :) If you want a running regimen, I can mail that to you!.!.!.just ask :)Www@Answer-Health@Com

To lose weight, it's better to do it the scientific way!.!.!.that is figure out how many calories you need to maintain weight, and eat less than that!. See my source for more info on this!.

I think WHAT you are doing is great!. HOW MUCH, however is too much!.
I'd also recommend you add in a day or two of weight training!. Don't worry, you're not going to build "too much muscle" (and worse comes to worse, you can just ease off of it)!. This will help you more than Pilate's, imo (though doing both at some point during the week is good)!.
60 minutes of that kind of cardio is enough in one sitting!.
(2 hours of activity is fine, if it's something like gardening!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com
