Question: Calling all teenage girls!!!!?
Hey! Im a 5'5, 110 lb!. 15 year old girl!. I've recently lost a bunch of weight by counting calories and dieting, but now i want to maintain my weight!. Im sorta addicted to counting calories though!.!.!.
Anyways Im wondering what a typical teenage girl eats in a day!. Could you please tell me what you usually eat in a day!?
Also, if you could tell me your age, height, weight, and activity level that would be FABULOUS too:)

Here's what I pretty much what I eat daily:

before i eat i take a vitamin
breakfast:usually a small bowl of cereal with low fat milk
snack:an apple or an orange
lunch:salad with other veggies,maybe fruit, and vegetarian ground beef
snack:either just plain crackers or crackers with a little bit of peanut butter for protein
dinner:pretty much the same as lunch
desert:either a popsicle(gets rid of my craving for sugar) or some kind of fruit
drink:I usually try to drink a lot of water, every once in awhile ill have orange juice, and i try to drink a glass of low fat milk once a day

Im a about your age and I'm 5'4 and 121 or 122 and in a day I am probably running between 3 and 7 miles because I am in Cross Country!. BTW your underweight right now and even if you did gain 10 or 15 pounds you would still wouldn't be fat!. When it comes to maintaining your weight just watch what you eat and exercise and you probably won't gain the weight back!.

What i eat:
Breakfast: a douhgnut and fruit juice
Lunch: macaroni and cheese
snacks: sunchips, cheeze its, possibly ritz bitz, and vitamin water if i am thirsty when i eat snacks
dinner: something like spaghetti
and i have a glass of milk before bed!.

And i dont know why you are worried about your weight, if anything i think you could do with gaining a few pounds! And you could possibly stop counting calories by getting a new hobby, something that really keeps you busy!. And try meditating 3-5 minutes every day!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

your actually underweight right now according to bmi but of course bmi isnt usually very useful!. Basically every linemen in the nfl is calculated as obese!.

But You could probably gain 15 or 20 pounds and still be ideal weight for your height and you probably cant even gain that much weight even if you try because of your metabolism!. Your too strict with your diet!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

the average teenage girl consumes about 2000-3000 calories a day!. you need to stop dieting but keep exersiing!. also some people's body build and genetics are made so you aren't ment to be super skinny!. start weaning yourself of calorie counting by slowly counting less and less until you stop!. ask me if u have any more !?'s!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm 5'3 1/2 13years old and 95 pounds! but i have a eNORMOUS appetite and exercise like 12 hours a week!. I'm crazed on nutrition facts too but i love food too so, hey, its not fun worrying about the calories while eating! In a day: in the morning a bowl of cereal with half a banana or 2 slices of bread w/ milk; lunch: 17 dumplings or 2 bowls of ( example :fried) rice ( or plain with veggies); dinner: 3 bowls of rice with veggies at around 5-6 'oclock

well i am 17 5'2 and i weigh anywhere from 111 to 120 i play volleyball and softball!. a normal day of eating for me consists of breakfast- some pancakes and frenchtoast eggs and toast and lunch is a sandwich with anything and dinner is some steak!. i have a very big appetite and i love to eat! dont worry about counting calories!. your only 15 and still growing!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Im 5'6 and 118lb and I dont count calories but I dont overeat!. Eat untill you are not hungry and that should keep you at the weight that you are now!. We all tend to eat more than we have to!. Dont freak out if your weight shifts by a pound or two, that doesnt mean that you are gaining weight!. As for exercising make sure you do some cardio 3 times a week for 45min to an hour and you should be able to maintain your weight!. good luck!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

im 14, about 5'3", 110-ish lbs, and i play tennis every once in a while!. i eat a lot during the day!. i have a huge appetite!. a tip about counting calories!.!.!. cover all nutrition labels!. eat what you want, but not too much!. eat slowly so your food will have more time to digest, and then you'll feel full earlier!. then you dont eat too much!. when you're done eating, you should feel satisfied, not stuffed!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, you seem fine! maybe consider like eating a bit more, look at it this way, your a teenager its your time to eat whatever you want!, don't worry, but don't let it get out of control lol!.
My age is 14, 5'3, 6 stone and a just walk for a few hours a day i guess!.

Truthfully, I'm not very healthy!. I am just under-weight, and eat as much junk as I want to!. This is bevause I have such a fast matabolism, it really doesn't faze on me!. I know this doesn't help at all probably, but junk is what all of my friends and I eat, and we are skinny!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

To wean yourself off of calorie counting, set fitness goals for yourself instead!. This way, you'll treat food like a fuel source instead of a bank!. Start running and lifting weights, and eat to support that!. I used to workout between 12 and 15 times a week, and to support that, I ate a significant amount of healthy foods!.!.!.anywhere from 2800-3200 calories daily!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hello there! I am 16, 5 feet 10 inches, and I play volleyball, high jump, shot put&discus (track), cheerleading, and skiing!. I weigh 145 lbs!.
My eating sched:
-whips yogurt and half bagel w/ cream cheese
-turkey&cheese sammie with cottage cheese
-granola bar(oats&honey) yogurt covered rasins
-usually chicken or beef with veggies

congrats on the dieting! remember, dieting pills are not required, because diet and exercise are simple and effective!. Keep it going! I used to eat alot too, but then my uncle went to the hospital because he is obese and he is having alot of problems (he still is in the hospital undergoing many surgeries) but the definition for appetite is the MINDS NEED for food!. You can control your thoughts, and that is also a big part of dieting!. ask yourself once in a while, "Do I really need this!?" I am so happy for you! keep it going!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i have the biggest appetite ever!!
My day:
Breakfast: i dont have time but if i do its usually an orange
Snack: choccie bar
Lunch: whatever i feel like, usually 2 pitta breads, 1 with marmite the other with butter
Snack: packet of crisps
Dinner: whatever my mum cooks for me
=) i also have fruit and other stuff inbetween but thats mainly my eating habits

instead of stopping counting calories entirely, maybe just count them for one or two meals a day, then cut down to one meal, then stop counting altogether

Oh yeah, i also exercise, just dancing around at home
or about an hour on my gym ball, i also do some cardio, and before i go to be i lift some weights, and do a couple of wall press ups

I am not a teenage girl, but I'd like to help you out!. I'm a 19 year old male, I workout everyday and am a trained boxer so I deal with fitness a lot!. I can relate to your calorie counting and it is bad, I am happy you want to lose this habit!. For 110 pounds you are underweight and have a few free pounds to gain!. You can be between the 115-125 area so you are doing great!. If you calorie count don't be too ridiculous, keep it under 1500 calories, since you do need nutrients to function and feel better!. If you are somewhat addicted to calories counting then just increase the calories somewhat!. You can please your appetite, just make sure you drink water when you start to feel slightly hungry!. This will lessent the amount of food you eat, and help your metabolism!. If you try running or walking more you can eat more and your body will burn it up!. You have a few pounds to give so try the 1500 calories, and if it seems you are gaining replace your foods with fruits and vegetables!. The great thing about healthy foods such as granola bars or lean meats like chicken is that you can eat a great amount and the calorie and fat intake is very small, though you can eaily become filled up!. hey! congrats on the weight loss, although id say putting another 10 lbs back on would be healthy!.

im 15, 140 lbs, 5'7", and I currently like barely exercise at all, although during the school year, I usually weigh like 5 less pounds and exercise a lot, at least an hour a day!.

i dont really have a rountine for eating!. i just eat natural foods and i count calories too trust me!. i used to be absolutely insane about it, but over this summer ive started enjoying my food!.!.!.a lot haha!.

i think the only thing you can do to stop is first of all, be confident of your body so you dont feel the need to so carefull watch what you eat!. i guess you can also just kind of not let yourself look at packages!. i mean checking calories is fine, but obsessing over it and making lists of all the calories you consumed that would be over the line!. so checking calories and remembering certain food's calorie values is perfectly normal in my eyes!.

and about your huge appetite, that can be suppressed with a proper healthy diet!. if you're eating empty calories, it doesn't matter how much you eat, its not going to be beneficial to your health and it's not going to fill you up!. so eat a lot of whole grains, whole wheat bread, fruits, veggies, and get a proper amount of liquid!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

im 16 113 pounds and 5'4!. i know breakfast is important but int eh school year id otn wat much mayeb just a cookie or soemthing, but durrign hte summer ill have toast or a waffle!. then i try not to have a lot of snacks durring the day beacuse i dotn want to gain weight, so i just have like 1 or 2 little ones!. but anyways, for lunch ill have mac and cheese normally a whole box myslef, or ill have PBand J!. then i try to wait untill dinner to eat again, and ill have veggies and a veggitarian food!. sometimes also a salad!. im a veggiatrian so i eat fake meat and stuff like that!. i rarly have ice cream becuase like i said i dont want to gain at all!. i love going for walks alot and im in marching band but thats only for a few months so i dont realy do any consistant sports but i love going out and doing random stuff with my friends!. good luck i hope that helped a little bit!Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you want to eat more, and stay skinny, you should start working out, for strength maybe!. That will make you gain a little weight (which is good because your under weight)!. But it also might actually make you look even thinner!. Because its your muscles that hold your skin onto your body, so exercising them and making them stronger will pull your skin tighter to your body!.

The important thing, isn't how but you weigh, but how much body fat you have!.

If you workout, as in to gain strength, you will be able to eat more, and the more muscle mass you have, the more calories you body will burn in a day, thus you can eat more without gaining any weight!.

If your really hungry and want to get filled up without many calories, veggies are the way to go, they are all very low in calories!.

If you want to suppress your appetite, and look skinnier, drink a gallon of water a day!.

PS!. I have a sister who is around your height, but she weights like 20 lbs more, and isn't fat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
