Anyone have buyers remorse after purchasing Alli?!

Question:

Anyone have buyers remorse after purchasing Alli?

I’m starting to have doubts about the drug. I started my diet plan approximately two weeks ago and have stayed pretty consistent with my eating and exercising. I’ve lost 8 pounds already, but this is comparable to the amount of weight I have lost in the past with any diet plan. When I actually sat down and did the math, I realized that anyone could probably still lose the amount of weight they have been while also saving anywhere from $50 to $80 (depending on where you purchased your product) in the long run. One gram of fat contains approximately 9 calories. If you stick to the alli plan of 15 grams of fat or less per meal, then in one day at the max you would have eaten 45 grams of fat containing 405 calories. Since Alli only blocks 25% of the fat consumed that only amounts to a blockage of 101 calories per day or 707 calories per week. Since it takes the body 3600 calories to burn 1 pound of fat, the maximum amount of weight Alli could help you lose when taken as directed is only 10 pounds per year. This same feat could be easily achieved by simply cutting out a can of soda or using a little less butter or dressing with a meal and it would certainly be easier than dealing with those nasty little “treatment effects” that I’ve read some people have had. I’ll probably finish the pills I have since I don’t like wasting money, but I doubt I’ll be buying anymore. I think just dieting and exercising will produce the same results. Curiously enough, when I posted this same question at the MyAlli message boards on their site, it was blocked lol. I guess only questions promoting Alli are valid questions…ridiculous.

Answers:

I agree...I did the math too, and it really doesn't block a lot of calories. The best thing I like about alli so far is that it makes me so scared to eat more than 15 grams of fat (due to supposed side effects) per meal. This is helping me really stick to the diet and not cheat.
