Question: If I lose 10 pounds, would it be noticeable!?
I'm currently just under 160 lbs, and around 5'11!. I want to be fitter for sports season at school, which starts in a month!.

Also, how long would it take to lose it without dieting!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

i would recommend you lose the weight slowly!. this can be achieved by simply removing certain foods in your diet!. just substitute some foods for others, eg!. instead of having a piece of cake or a biscuit just have a piece of fruit instead etc!. if you want to get fitter just exercise more by walking or jogging a few times more a week!. this way you will lose weight and gain fitness!. on someone with your build a loss of 10 lbs would be more noticable than someone who is larger!. good luck!Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hm-mm , well yea 10 lbs would be quite noticeable , you might not be fitter , but thinner !.
Exercise alone will not work , they did studies on people who all of a sudden trained for a marathon , and out of 20 only one lost weight !. Are appetite sometimes increased with exercise !.
So not unless you don't eat any more and exercise , and be sure to eat the same , as before you could lose weight that way !. But the best way is to eat healthy , live foods , not processed foods , but live vegetables , and low fat meat , and live fruit for your carbs !.
I like to mix 8 or 9 different vegetables together in a large bowl , add some very low fat tasty dressing , and a egg or low fat meat to the salad and eat that for breakfast with a fruit salad with 8 or 9 different fruits for my meals , with a cup of milk each meal !. Then for dinner one of each food group low fat of course and if starch , only whole grain , like rice or a potato , or whole wheat bread !.
Or you could just eat what you want but cut your portions in half , untill you lose the weight !. You stomach will shrink and you will feel full on half of what you ate before !.
How long it will take depends on you metabalism , and your age !.
My friend lost 100 lbs in a year , by cutting out the fat !.
And you would have to exercise like a crazy nut , not to lose the weight without dieting , you would have to be active 4 hours a day , playing tennis , walking or something , and who has time for that !.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think you'd feel better about yourself knowing you were able to lose weight!. as far as looks, no i dont think people would notice ten pounds unless you were very small and took ten off!.!. but you dont want that!. you sound like a good weight the way you are!. fairly tall and not heavy at all!. have you tried just toning up and working out !? alot of times we dont have to deprive ourselves on diets all we have to do is get moving!.!. in which it sounds like you do with your sports!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well probably some months, losing weight takes time so you have to be patient!. I would suggest you diet it's quicker, makes you feel healthier and gives you energy!.
Drink lots of water too!.

it depends on where you lose, your face, neck for example!. Also, calorie burning is the key point!. A pound of fat, needs 3500-4000 calorie to burnWww@Answer-Health@Com
