Question: Diet suggestions!? Atkins!?!?
What's the best way to lose a couple of pounds in two weeks!? Im thinking the Atkins diet, but am not sure how it works and IF it works!.!.!. i dont want to lose a massive amount, but just a few pounds b4 i go on vacay!.!.!. any suggestions!? Oh, and i'm 5'8" and 150 lbs!.!.!. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

My son and I have been on Atkins for five months now; he's down 70lb and I'm down 40!. If you utilize the diet the right way it's safe!. However this is not a quick fix diet it's a way of eating for life!. As you lose weight you increase your carbs in the form of more and more veggies, staying away from the breads and pasta and high carbs foods!.

If your looking to lose just a few, and at the height and weight you listed that's all you should be doing; increase your veggies, drink lots of water and watch your calories for two weeks, no more than 1200 a day with a mile or so walking or bike riding for exercise!. try low carb and high protein it keeps you full and carbs go straight to the undesirable spots such as the the stomach butt thighs unless you burn it off quickly and protein takes a while to digest which keeps you full also try five or six small meals a day instead of 3 big ones it keeps your metabolism going fasterWww@Answer-Health@Com

you cant diet for life!.!.!.once you stop dieting the weight returns as fat,though you may have lost muscle weight as well!the only way to deal with excess body fat is a total change of lifestyle!.!.!.workout 5 or 6 days a week(do both cardio & toning workouts) and simply calorie shift your food portions healthily!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Does anyone still go by the Atkins diet!? Seems like that's an old diet!. A couple pounds in a couple weeks!? That shouldn't be too hard!. Just stick with lean protein, veggies, some fruit, and hit the cardio hard!. You should lose a couple pounds easy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
