Question: Is it resonable to think you could lose 40 pounds in 4 months!?
i weigh 257 am 15 and mesure 5 11 1/2 have a diet of 1500 calories a day a weight lift and cardio everyday!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

It's possible!. I've done it!. My starting weight was about what you're at too!. I exercised 3 times a day!. 30 minutes of aerobics in the morning as soon as I got out of bed, 4 hours later a 30 minute bike ride or walk, and then pilates or weight lifting for 30 minutes after dinner (alternating days)!. I tracked my calories eaten with fitday!.com, and made sure I was eating 1200 calories, PLUS exercise calories burned!. So if fitday said I burned 400 calories one day, I ate 1600!.

So yes, it's possible!. But you might also plateau after losing some weight!. It's normal and don't get discouraged by it!. A plateau can last from 2 weeks to 2 months!.!.!.it's your body's way of adjusting to the change!. Giving your skin a chance to catch up etc!.

Not quite 40 pounds!.

You should aim to lose exactly 2 pounds a week, that's 8 pounds a month, if you lose weight more quickly then this your going to get loose skin!. If you get really bad loose skin your going to need to get surgery to get rid of it!.

Possible, but not probable!. It's hard to stay that dedicated over a long stretch without many slip-ups!. Of course, some people can do it and maybe you're one of them!.

With so few calories (safely above starvation mode, though), you'll need to take care to get enough protein and fruit!. Check out the good old Food Pyramid and make sure you stick pretty close to it most days!.
