Eating one meal a day?!


Question: Eating one meal a day!?
okay i'm 16 and ever since i was 14 i have eaten one meal a day!. i don't do it to lose weight or anything (i weigh 115) it's just that i'm so used to it!.!.!.the only meal i eat is dinner and i usually get full pretty quickly!. i don't eat when i wake up or eat any snacks until i eat dinner!. i was just wondering if this was bad and if later on in life, this would be a great risk to my health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

this is unhealthy as your body doesnt have enough calories to keep your metabolism high, and chances are you are "skinny fat" meaning little muscle tone as in that one meal you couldn't be recieving the protein or calories your body needs to keep muscle giving you a lean, tone appearance!. Now I was bad for this all throughout highschool and at 19 I had my son, during pregnancy i didnt eat horribly but I ate more than I was used to, 3-5times a day and semi-healthy, because I had such a slow metabolism because my body was used to one meal a day and only burning off about 400 calories, uping my cals to 1600 a day did not go well, and I gained 45lbs and it is a lot harder to lose than put on especially when I never had to before! And when losing weight with a newborn constantly nursing I dropped to one meal a day and didnt lose much (15lbs in 10months) I lose 35lbs in 6months when I had the same excercise routine but changed to eating 5small healthy meals a day and now I have muscle which I never did before, I was tiny but no muscle!. so thats my situation- its easy to eat just pre make your food and put it in containers i did a week in advance and labelled it mon breakfast, snack1, lunch, snack2, dinner until i had it habit and packed the containers in my purseWww@Answer-Health@Com

It's ok i've been doing that my whole life!.!.!. i won't lie sometimes i eat something at night like a dessert or hamburguer but i don't do it on daily basis, you should be fine! Just make sure you have some kind of vitamins to make sure you are getting all the things you need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

it's bad! youre probably missing out on essential nutrients by just eating one meal and youre slowing down your metabolism which means you'd have an easier time gaining weight when you get older!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
