Some weight loss questions?!


Question: Some weight loss questions!?
Alright, starting tomorrow my complex's pool re-opens up and I'm going to start walking and swimming every day (Hopefully If I have the time which I should)

But I had another question, I was reading up on some stuff and people say you can lift weights while watching TV, but does that necessarily help you to lose the stomach fat!? I'm primarily concerned about my heart and my stomach / upper stomach, and not necissarly yet with building muscle!. What's the most intuitive option I can take!? Just stick with swimming / walking for the cardio!? I just don't know too much about it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Okay, first, make sure you maintain a well balanced diet!.!.!. And by diet I don't mean low carb, calorie counting or anything crazy like that!.!.!. I mean, keeping it healthy and controlling your portions! Try to eat about 6 times a day, but make sure your portions are small!.!.!.!. Like a bagel in the morning, yogurt between breakfast and lunch, have 1/2 a sandwich & and apple for lunch!.!.!.!. something along that line!. And remember WATER is key here!.!.!. you should be drinking about 64-80 ounces a day!! That's about 1-2 liters!.

The BEST way to stay fit and toned is to concentrate on cardio, it will burn the fat and keep your heart healthy!. Swiming is good for the muscles, it will tone them!.!.!. Walking is GREAT, you get more out of walking than running, however you are looking to lose weight, you should try something with "higher-impact"!.!.!. bicycling, elipticals!.!.!.!. that sort of thing!. Even kick boxing or something that will make you sweat!

In order to lose weight you need to do cardio (keep you heart rate up) and take in lesser calories!. For target heart rate get a heart rate monitor and maintain your target heart rate for a good 30 mins for a cardio work out to be effective

If you just lift weights you will turn your fat into muscle and not slim down!.

If you want to slim down and still work with weights use very little weights and more reps!.

Also cutting calories and carbohydrates will help you lose weight!. Working out and taking in the same amount of calories you do now will only turn your fat in to muscle not letting you trim down!.

Another key is water!!! water water water!.!.!.!.!. and more water!.
Your weight that your caring in you stomach is partly due to blotting which is caused from not enough water and a lot of sodium!. Cut the intake of salt and drink 6-10 bottles of water!. You will flush your system and see results quickly!.
