Running for fat burning?!

Question: Running for fat burning!?
I am currently running 6mi/hr for 65 mins, and burning 1003 cal during this workout!.I want to know if this would help me reduce the dead meat(fat) on my waist line!? I supplement myself with EAS's"Race Recovery" to protect my leg muscles from damage!.Can anyone suggest if I am on the right track,or do I need to burn out more with swimming and rowing!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You are fine as far as your cardio - going further and you are risking overtraining!. Remember that when you are losing fat, it is like peeling an onion, it's one layer at a time!. Some layers are just thicker that others!.

You can modify this by substituting High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) for your normal cardio as well as cross training every third day!. This will help the body from reaching a plateau!. You didn't mention when you were doing this cardio session but the morning on an empty stomach (water only) is the most effect time)!.

Two additional suggestions:
1!. Don't forget the resistance training as the more muscle mass you add, the higher your metabolism will be as a baseline!.
2!. Drop the Race Recovery drink!. All of the carbs in this drink are from sugar which means that your body is going to process them almost instantly and store them!. To maximize fat loss, ou need to wait for 45-60 minutes before you eat/ drink (other than water)!. What ever you injest as your post workout meal needs to be protein rich and natural carbs (fruits) or a combination of natural and complex carbs!.

For a shake, look at 20g whey protein, 1/2 med banana, and 1/2 cup frozen strawberries!.

For a 65 minute cardio workout, you will run the risk of some muscle canabilization!. You can look at this in two ways!.!.!.

-- Your resistance training will more than take care of this!.
-- Decrease the time of your cardio (HIIT should only be ~30 minutes)

Good luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

You're on the right track , but it's not necessary to do cardio for 65 minutes, and don't worry about how many calores you burn!. You need to lift weights first then do cardio!. The reason is because if you do too much cardio(and don't lift weights) then you lose muscle along with fat, which will cause your metabolism to slow down and cause weight gain!. I suggest doing 45 minutes of cardioWww@Answer-Health@Com

wow don't overdo it!! 30 min to 45 is enough!. But wow that is impressive!. I think that an hour is enough!. YOu don't want to fatigue your body!. Make sure youa re eating a healthy balanced diet high in nutrients, veggies, protein and carbs in the morning for energy!. Stick to enough calories to support your running b/c if you dont eat enough you may end up gaining weight b/c you become famished and store fat!. But definitely stick to it and you should lose weight in no time!. Try taking a day or two break in between though, running has really heavy effects on your joints and knees!. Don't want to end up getting injured and needing surgery!. Then you'll need bed rest and gain back all the weight you worked to lose!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

do your cardio first! then you strength training!. There is no need for you to be running for 65 min cut it down to 40-45 min!. the more calories you burn the more fat you lose as long as you are eating a healthy, sensible and well balanced diet!. it takes 3500 calories to burn one pound!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I swam 10 miles/wk and biked or ran 10/day (10mile run week) I lost lots of fat!. I also lifted weights!. i keept my diet to 3500 calories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
