too much protein is hard on the tummy, try kashi protein powder mix!. gassiness will go away with time, may of these drinks add fiber, so it may bloat and cause gas, but the body will get used to it and stop eventually!. as far as teary eyes, if the drink makes you in this much pain, stop it immediately and talk to your health care practitioner!. good luck *s!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
