Special K diet plan?!


Question: Special K diet plan!?
Three bowls of Special K a day!.!.!.
and 3 servings of fruit!.!.!.
20 mins on the treadmill
(changed the plan up a bit)

I have tried the Special K diet (2 bowls and dinner), and I wouldn't recommend it!. I was starving most of the time, and I ended up stuffing my face at night!.

Plus, this diet is not going to give you the proper nutrients!. Special K is marketed as healthy, but IT'S NOT!. There's tons of sugar, and even if you overlook that, it's basically just empty carbs!. You are eating all carbs on this diet!.!.!.no protein or fat to speak of!. This is not good for your body, and you won't feel very good if you try it!.

You need to include some veggies, some protein, and some good fats!. Overall though, this is just too few calories!. You're going to be way too hungry to keep it up for long!.

I'd try it with something like Vita Brits, Special K has TONNES of sugar!. I always thought it was ver healthy but it's not so great!.

The chart about halfway down shows how much sugar is in various cereals!. Special K has 15 grams of sugar per 100 grams of cereal, whereas Vita Brits only has 1 gram!. Much healthier!.

But still, it's a better idea to eat three proper meals, plus two small snacks, and up the exercise a bit instead!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I'm actually curious! I've thought of doing it, except I think you're supposed to replace 2 out of 3 meals a day with Special K, and have one real meal (for protein and such)!. Let me know if it works! The cereal is tasty, I think I could do it :)
