Question:

Have you ever gotten in shape doing something that was so fun, you forgot you were exercising?

Just want to shed those 10 pounds and tone up without becoming stairmaster queen... or something else equally as lame.


Answers:

Yeah. Tennis. I love it and it has done so much for me. I'm no pro, but I take classes twice a week and it is the highlight of my week. Very cardio in an organized class.

Other choices too. Years ago I moved to Lansing, MI and realized I was about 6 miles from work. I thought it would be fun to ride a bike to work, and so I did. It was not intended as exercise or a reducing activity. I was too young to even think about such things..... but my waistline had been expanding. I lost 20 pounds in about 6 weeks without dieting or even without trying to lose. It was great, and I really enjoyed the biking. I tended to run late, so was always biking at top speed to get to work on time. Rolled up my suitcoat in my back-pack and it worked well.
