Question: 17 yr old girl who really wants to lose weight!?
i have been overweight most of my life!. i was 3 weeks premature and i think that the fact that most of the women on my moms side are like a size 14, it came to me!. shes isnt though and i am so jealous!. actually i think she might b a little too skinny lol!. but neways, i remeber in kindergarten ppl called me fat!. i am like 5'5 and weight 175 lbs so i know i am overweight!. i really wanted to lose 15 lbs before school started because this is my senior yr but school starts next tuesday and i have lost nothing!. i have ate better and healthier but it didnt work!. i have babysat most of my summer so by the time i came home i was exhausted and was in no mood to exercise!.i have a membership to the ymca and i could work out but i cant drive and my mom never wants to take me!. and now our car is messed up!. i cant go running outside becuase i live in the south with the temp up to 103 somedays!. my mom doesnt really trust the neightborhood to let me out late at night when they sun is down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have a lot of experience at losing weight!. I recently lost 45 pounds(in 3 months!. The best way to lose it and keep it off is by taking it one day at a time!. Instead of focusing on losing weight focus on something else(getting 8 servings of veggies,proper amounts of protein,eating every three hours but staying at 1200 calories,working out for 30-60 min 5 days a week) When I took my focus off how much I weigh every day it was easy!. I weighed myself once a week at the same time to see my progress!. When you eat balanced and often you will stick with it longer!. Throw exercise into the mix and you get one sexy mama!

If you can't go running or walking at night, and it gets really hot during the day, try getting up early to excercise!. The tempurature won't be too hot!. Or ddr reallly helps you get fit too!.

Hun!.!.!.it really doesn't matter what you weigh!. It matters if you are exercising and being healthy!. Personally I exercise and I am 5'3 and weigh your same weight!. I'm a 10 in jeans, 4 in dresses & skirts, and a small in shirts!. I workout!. I am healthy!. Take a walk early in the morning for about 30-45 minutes and then get a nice pilates dvd and do that daily!. The inches should come off and you should lose weight, if not you might have a thyroid condition and get it checked out by a doctor!. Eat healthy!. DO NOT STARVE YOURSELF!. If so, you will go into starvation mode and your maetabolism will slow down!. Drink water, limit sugar intake!. Hope that helps!Www@Answer-Health@Com
