Anyone tried EAS Myoplex carb sense bars?!

Question:

Anyone tried EAS Myoplex carb sense bars?

If so. What did you think of them. Are they any good?

Answers:

I tried them. They used to be called Myoplex- low carb bars. But they had to change the label for legal reasons. To include all carbohydrates contained, not just that which is bad for you. Which is what they were doing.

They were not designed to be used for weight loss. Each bar seems to vary nutrition wise. On average they contain 250cals & 30g protein + varying amounts of vits & mins.

I can only tell you what I think of them. I tried 4 flavours. My favourite was- chocolate peanut butter- extremely tasty. Second I liked was- cookies & cream- good, an interesting consistency, but not unpleasant. They also help me resist the unhealthy chocolate bar cravings. I find them a very nice way to get a large amount of protein, as I can't stand the liquid mixes that I found to taste revolting.

Lemon delight- not too good. Though slightly better for me than- strawberry & cream. I was expecting to like them, because I like yogurt & white chocolate. Plus I like lemon & strawberry. But the taste of what was under the outside coating, tasted disgusting to me. Like how I imagined old, stale chewing gum, that had been spat out & abandoned on the floor to taste like. Relying totally on the lemon or inferior strawberry flavor to rescue them. However I could palate the taste for the benefits, but some probably wouldn't want too.

I hope this helps you.
