believe it or not walking really does make a difference!. I started walking in april and in three weeks I saw drastic improvements in my torso area and my thigh area!. I live on a slight hill and I did still walk at a moderate/fast pace!. Also, after and before workout I ate protein, i!.e!. cottage cheese and fruit, banana or peanut butter on bread or fruit!. good luck!. p!.s!. you must discipline yourself to not be tempted or at least not so much!. I was not "disciplined" on Saturdays!. That was my free day but I did have to respect moderation!. Finally, try not to drink carbonated beverages or sugar filled beverages!. I drink the diet Lipton green tea quite a bit!. I really like it !. Carbonated beverages made my stomach bloat really quickly!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would say just generally try to follow a few rules:

No white carbs - replace white bread with wheat, pasta with enriched egg noodles, white rice with brown rice, and lay off of the potatoes!.

If you drink soda, alcohol, or juice, switch it to water!. Especially with alcohol, this will make a huge difference!.

Don't eat junk food!. Potato chips, cheetos, corn chips, little debbies, sugary sweets - get it all out of the house where you know you won't eat it!. Bring in fruits, vegetables, and if you really need some kind of treat, Hershey's double dark chocolate 60 calorie sticks!. They're really rich, so you won't want more than 2 and if you freeze them, they take a little while to eat! =P

Cut out fatty meats for boneless skinless chicken breast or lean ground beef (90%/10% or better)!.

Salad = healthy; regular dressings = not healthy!. Carry your own if you decide to eat salads a lot!. Restaurant dressing can be a diet sabotager!

Also, Do NOT skip meals - that will cause your body to cling to food!. Instead, have 250cal mini-meals about 6x per day spaced out evenly!. The more fiber they contain, the fuller you will feel!.

Try some Cardio! Walking a mile and running a mile burn the same amount of calories! Get on a treadmill or out in the neighborhood and just walk (or run)!. It'll make a big difference!Www@Answer-Health@Com
