I need some advice....?!


Question: I need some advice!.!.!.!.!?
I am trying to lose weight!. I need to lose at least 50 pounds to be at a healthy weight!. I talked to my doctor and she gave me some guidelines to follow and so I have doing that for the last two weeks and I have lost 10 pounds already!. The thing is, I'm eating under 800 calories a day!. I know that women are supposed to take in a lot more than that!. But I'm eating right!. I eat 6 small meals all through the day!. I make sure that I'm getting all the major food groups covered!. I'm following the guidelines that my doctor told me about!. Do you think that what I'm doing is okay or do you think that I should be taking in more calories!. I'm only 4'9" so maybe that has something to do with it!. Just let me know what you think please!. Thanks!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Stop counting the calories!. If you're eating healthy and appropriate portions to not be starving and have energy - then you're good to go!. Don't make it more complicated than it needs to be!.

It's also very likely you're mis-calculating the calories of what you are eating!. That would make each of your 6 meals only 133 calories - that would be very hard to do!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

800 seems awfully little!. I thought 1200 to 1500 would have been a better amount!.

As long as you are doing it under a doctor's supervision, I guess that is okay though!.

So that means you are only taking in 133 calories per meal, and even though you are eating 6 meals per day, and depending on your age that may not be the best thing for you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

That really depends on your activity level!. The more active you are, the higher caloric intake you will need!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I do not know whether you are exercising or not because if you are doing increased activity 800 calories is excessively low!. If you are not you should still aim for about 1000 calories!. For your situation of height and wanting to lose mass weight 1000 would be fine for you to function during the day!. What you've lost already is water weight, so after the first 15 pounds it is going to be very difficult to lose weight unless you eat properly and do some cardiovascular!. Try walking or jogging each morning and drink water before each meal so you get that hydration and feeling of fullness before eating!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
