I need to eat more protein...?!


Question: I need to eat more protein!.!.!.!?
I only get about 17g of protein a day from a whey protein shake and a cliff bar, some times also black beans and rice!. I am 143 lbs and 25% body fat!. I tracked my diet (noticed i'm eating a lot of fruits!.!.) and was told that I need to eat more protein!. I don't really like meat, occassionally will eat chicken or fish!. I have a problem eating anything that has a significant amount of fat on the label (the biggest serving of actual fat I get is usually from the cliff bar) I'm usually on the go with work and school!. Any ideas!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Eating fat will not make you fat!.

Its actually the opposite, eating healthy fats like olive oil and omega 3s in fish and such will help you lose fat!.

Saturated fat is bad for you, avoid it!.

But dont avoid fat altogether, it should be about 30% of your calories for the day!.

And 17g of protien is horrible, you need at least 70-80!.


Eating more protien will help you lose weight!.


Try skim milk, and other low fat dairy if you dont like meats, but fish is pretty much the gold standard for weight loss!.

Almonds and nuts are a good plan, but dont over do it, they are quite calorie dense, even though their insulin response is low!.

Your diet is high in carbs like the rice, and low in fats and protiens!.

you should eat 0!.5g of protein for every pound of body weight!. So you should eat about 70g everyday, to maintain strong muscles!.

Usually nuts have protein, but you should really start eating lean meats!.

darling!.!. u need so much more than that!. you need prob another 50g's a day! give or take a little!.!. 17g will cause ur muscle to be burnt up as energy!. get more protein into you pls!! your energy levels will be boosted and you will feel five times better i promise!Www@Answer-Health@Com
