Question: Diets- Stuff I need to avoid!?
I am a 15 year old and I was told I was overweight for my age!. I want to seriously get on a diet!. What foods do i need to avoid!. And what should I do if I want to have my abs more!.!.!.!. defined!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You should avoid anything that is fat!. Read the labels!. Everything over 30 % fat in total is out of the question!. But watch out, the labels are mostly not clear!. Hear is how to read: multiply the fat grams per serving times 9!. (1 gram fat = 9 calories), divide the result by the calories per serving times 100!. Every result under 30 is okay!.

Calories per serving 120
Grams fat per serving 9 ( does not look bad!?)
9 times 9 = 81 calories = that is a lot!!
81 / 120 x 100 = 67!.5 %

To difine your abs, do sit ups, work out in general!.

There was list of foods on Yahoo news a few days ago!. One surprise to me: an ice cream sandwich has one third the calories of a slice of apple pie!. There were several surprise comparisons!. I copied it but gave to a girlfriend who is always on a diet!. My advice, as an older guy who is down 15 pounds in 25 days, is to workout with intensity and reduce your caloric intake!. Brush your teeth before meals that cuts your appetite by reducing the bacteria in your mouth which makes any food taste better!. I know its a hassle; but, any trick that works is worth a try!.
