How many calories?..Do 5'0 people eat a day? and actively burn off?

I am 20 years old, 5 Feet and want to be 110 but I'm 80 pounds. I work everyday which my work requires massive walking. How much calories should I eat to be at 110? I see this bag of chips with 13 servings, 12 chips per serving and 150 calories per serving. That would give me about 23400 calories. Would I gain a few pounds right away then? if not what should I eat?

alright let me just pull out that harris benedict formula. At 80 pounds you should be eating 1,720 calories a day to maintain. A 110 pound person your same age and height should be eating 2,000 calories to maintain. This, however, is with your "massive walking" in the formula. Without the massive walking at 80 lbs you should eat 1,200 calories and 110lbs should eat 1,400 calories. AAH! Loads of numbers I just cluttered my mind up.

If you want to gain weight then you should eat around 500 calories more than you need to a day. Eating a whole bunch on a single day wouldn't help. Make sure you eat healthy foods like whole grains, vegetables, beans, sweet potatoes, wild rice, lean meats, and healthy fats with omega 3's.
