Question: Is weight watchers/Jenny Craig help keep the pounds off in the long term!?
Is it worth the money or am I better of going it on my own with the free stuff already out there at the library and on the internet!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

If you are the type of person who responds well to having to be accountable to someone, then I recommend weight watchers or LA weight loss!. Jenny Craig is way too expensive because you have to buy their food!. With WW or LAWL you can buy your own food and you learn good food choices and healthy portions!. Weight watchers is probably the least expensive and best suited to most people's lifestyles!. I know people who have done JC and found it too hard to folllow and too expensive!. I know a person who used WW and lost over 100 pounds and is keeping it off because she now knows portion control, etc!. LAWL is also a great program, but can be a bit pricey when you factor in all those bars they want you to buy!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It all depends on how dedicated you are and how much research you want to do!. If you will really want to lose the weight for free then you could do it all through free stuff if you really can stick with it!. Even the programs like weight watchers and Jenny Craig won't help in the long term if you do not stick with it!.
My mother lost 20 pounds through weight watchers a few years ago and even though she doesn't go to the meetings she still keeps the weight off by working out every day for at least an hour!. She also doesn't eat any food that is way over the edge!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I think it depends on your motivation level!. They have a whole system set up to help you lose weight!. They will try to motivate you!. They will setup a diet plan for you!. But that is their business!. You are paying them to do that!. However, there is a lot of information on the Internet!. I have done many searches and discovered lots of sites!. After what I've learned, I would never pay Jenny Craig!. But that's just me!.

How about you!? Are you the type of person who is self-motivated, or do you need that push!? I suggest trying anything to lose weight!. If you have the money to try Jenny Craig, then do it!. Your health is important!. If Jenny Craig doesn't work, try something else!. But I think in the end, it's your own motivation that will drive you to lose the weight!. And once you are working hard, and losing weight, and gaining confidence, and checking yourself out in the mirror (and liking what you see), !.!.!. well, those are the rewards!. Perhaps Jenny can give you a push, but you must do the work!.

And really, in the long term, those who keep it off lose it gradually with a combination of eating right and one or two hours of exercise a day!. The science is behind it, and so is my experience!. I do not recommend any quick-fixes or fad diets!. You are going to shock your system!. Do your best to eat healthy and exercise every day!. And you will find that you have lost weight and you will keep it off!. That's a certainty!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
