Question: Is 1400 calories a day a good weight loss plan for someone who is 5'3, 137 pounds!?
I recently had a baby 4 months ago, and I was wondering what my caloric intake should be each day in order to lose the weight the fasted!.!.!.!.!.!.Is 1400 calories okay!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I went on a 1500 calorie diet for 3 months and loss 50 pounds!.!.!. I eat oatmeal in the morning a 6 inch subway sandwich for lunch, and a foot long sub for dinner every day!. As well as worked out 3 times a week!.!.!.So 1400 is good!. But at your height 137 isn't bad at all not super skinny but a bit thick which is nice to have some meat on them bones! At least thats my opinion! ;) Plus your beautiful dont stress to much on it that baby fat will go away you'll see!!Www@Answer-Health@Com

1400 calories is right around starvation levels!. So your body will think it's time to use its fat and muscle storage!. The problem is that once you start adding in calories, you will gain weight because your body will think that it's time to store more fat for the next "famine"!. Your best bet is to eat healthily when you're hungry, and stop when you're full!. Walk the kid around the block/neighborhood for exercise (do this for an hour a day), and do some strength training exercises (you don't have enough testosterone to "bulk up"), which will build some muscle, which will raise your metabolism!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I am an inch taller than you and about the same weight!. You should not be concerned with your weight, but your BMI!.!.Body Mass Index!. That is the fat on your body compaired to the muscle!. Muscle weighs more than fat does!. When I was trying to lose weight I was on a 1200 calorie diet!. Remember there are "free foods"!. I am also a vegan and I do not eat meat!. The number of calories that you need per day also depends on your lifestyle and what keeps you moving!. =)Www@Answer-Health@Com

your not fat, your hot and sassy stop worrying!!! And lowering your daily diet is bad for you, especialy your face!! I suggest u ride a light not to heavy mountain bike if u really wanna lose wight!. im exactly the same!.!.!.5'3, 137!. currently im trying to tone up more so ive been eating 1000-1200 cals a day!.

i also workout 6 days a week w/ cardio for 50 minutes and weight lift 6 days a weekWww@Answer-Health@Com
