What are some healthy foods?

I am a 12 year old boy, 5"1" About 140 pounds trying to get skinny, and then get a 6 pac. What are the best foods to eat? What are the foods I shouldn't eat? Do i have to lose my fat layer before I work on my 6 pac? If so how can I lose it? Will the "AB Lounge" really get me a 6 pac? how often should I use it? How many times should I do a crunch on the AB Lounge?


Answers:

Exercise: min. 30 min/day
Adequate amount of water intake.

Include more protein - lean cut of chicken, turkey, fish and legumes in your diet.
Have 1cup of leafy green vegetables e.g. broccoli, asparagus, spinach, kale, etc. with your meal.

Fat: good fats are necessary for body functions. try olive oil or canola oil. You may try avocado in your salad/ or sandwiches.

Snack: almonds, walnuts, and hummus, home-made oat-meal cookies.

Fruits: berries, pear, and apples - avoid high sugar content fruits.Try fresh squeezed fruit and vegetables juices. Avoid store bought fruit juices- loaded with sugars.

Avoid those snacks that are full of sugars, additives, chemicals and zero nutrients, e.g. store bought cookies, muffins, cakes, etc.
