Sports for me?!


Question: Sports for me!?
i'll be 13 in october in about 5"7 and i weight around 120!.
i want to do sports that will help me loose weight and get me fit!.
i like the following sports

gymnastics
karate
cheerleading
yoga

will these sports help!?

At 5'7" tall and your current age of 12 years, your ideal weight is 133 lbs!. Your Body Mass Index should be between 19 and 25!. According to the site below, yours is 18!.8!. You are almost at the low end of healthy for your age but if you gained about 13 lbs!., then you woud be at the perfect weight and BMI!.

If you want to be toned and tight, at any weight, then yoga would be your best choice!. You could also do something like cheerleading for fun and to keep your heart healthy!. I would not recommend gymnastics since the focus, for some trainers, is on keeping their students at a much lower body weight than is healthy for them!.

You are at a crucial turning point where you can either develop an eating disorder by trying to get so thin that you look like "death walking" or you can stand strong against the dangerous influence of what you see in the media and be healthy, toned, and in control of your life!.

okay you're 5'7 and 120, you shouldn't be losing weight, you're already skinny!. i started karate when i was your age, 5'8, and 125!. if you're overweight, karate will help you lose weight, but for people like us who are already thin, you'll lose weight at first and then gain a lot of weight in muscle!. you'll be healthier but you won't lose weight from karate!. yoga may or may not help you lose weight, but it will definitely improve your flexibility and overall health!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

gymnastics and yoga r great!. id rank yoga over gymnastics !. its slower but effects stay for the rest of ur life!. u can lead a healthy life with yoga!.

Karate prob works you out the most!. Then yoga!. Cheerleading might get your stronger but not lose much weightWww@Answer-Health@Com

you sound fit to me, but if you must get in shape i suggest karate and gym, but maybe also try joggingWww@Answer-Health@Com
