Above anything I physically did, I had to make a commitment to myself to follow through with this......Losing weight is fairly easy in principle, but is much more difficult to stick to in reality. But, to answer your question, I committed to exercising 5 days a week (for at least one hour) and I have committed to eating healthy. I basically follow the food pyramid. I do not deprive myself of anything, but I try to choose healthier options and try to eat decent portion sizes. I also try to stay within 1200 calories a day.
