How can I get rid of my sweet tooth without eating anything too junky?!
Question: How can I get rid of my sweet tooth without eating anything too junky!?
I'm pretty used to eating some kind of junk food during the day, I have a killer sweet tooth!. How can I get rid of it without eating lots of junk food!? I've tried dessert-flavored yogurts, and I don't like them at all!. I love fruit, but it never satisfies my sweet tooth enough!.
Do you have any simple, healthy dessert ideas I can use to cure my sweet tooth!?
Thanks,

Ack! I know what you mean!. Fruit never completely satisfies your craving for sugar!. I have two suggestions!.
First, that you load up on granola or cereal bars!. Depending on the kind you get, they're usually loaded with sugar as well as proteins, but they're a healthy and more filling alternative to brownies, cookies, cakes, and ice cream!.
I know it's impossible to give up on those things, so the second suggestion is more of an alternative!.
Instead of eating junk food all the time or whenever you feel like it, force yourself to eat it only at a specific time!. Like between breakfast and lunch, or lunch and dinner!. Once you strain your appetite, you'll gradually get used to it and you'll have cravings less and less!.
I suppose if it's really hard, you can always carry around a pack of gum for whenever you have the urge to eat even when you're not really hungry!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you tried eating a small amunt of carbs!?
I also saw a recipe once that had nuts, chocolate chips, sunflower seeds, raisins, and maybe Chex Mix or dry granola or something in it!. The sweet in the raisins and the choc!. chips will satisfy your craving for sweets, but it doesn't have that many calories!.
Also, you might try substituting salty foods, like dill pickles--it works for some people!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Try eating sweet things early in the morning, like right when you wake up!. It kills your cravings for the rest of the day
The other solution is just stop eating dessert!. It will be hard for a few days, then you won't even miss itWww@Answer-Health@Com
