Question: Am I fat or am I normal!?
I am 10 years old and weigh 154 pounds!. I am 5 feet 3 inches!. am I over weight I am very very active!Www@Answer-Health@Com

i am sorry but your BMI is a 27!.1 on the BMI scale, which is overweight!. Don't worry we will struggle together because i have 20 pounds to lose!. For you to be at a healthy weight at 10 years old you would have to be 120 or less,but since you are tall like me i wouldnt go under the 100s!. If you are very active it might be your food intake!. Lay off the sugar soda and fatty snacks!. If you dont have these sorry!. Start drinking diet soda or water!. Its not really true what they say about diet soda!. It kinda tastes the same, but water is sooo much better for you!. It has become my fav drink! I know you will see changes in the first week you start dieting!. Since you are very active you might even lose 9 pounds! Which is pretty normal the first week!. But dont expect this every other week!. You may hit a plateau after losing lots of weight, but with your activities i doubt it!. Good luck, bye! And thanx for answering my question

dont listen to that other comment saying your overwight the first one, you may be a few pounds higher, but NOT overweigh:) just try eating healthier and excersiing, but your only young dont you be worrying about your weight atthis age, enjpyyourself just be aware of what you eat and how much, just dontgo crazy on dieting! id much prefer to be your weight that a tiny skinny runt who looks dead :) hope this helps xWww@Answer-Health@Com

Unfortunately at your height and especially your age you are overweight!. but as Queen Latifah says!.!.!.its not how much you weigh its how healthy you are!. (not a direct quote but pretty much what she says)!. If you are really active and healthy then its alright!.!.!.not alright!.!.!.I mean in order to be ultimately healthy you should probably lose weight because it can cause future problems such as heart disease and diabetes!. I'd say you may need to get rid of 20 pounds!. Never say lose!.!.!.because what do you do when you lose something!? You go look for it!. but do something that is easy for you that is a life style change and not a huge change!. Do something like try to have a fruit and veggie at every meal!. Go for a walk or do some kind of activity more than walking form the bus to your class or recess!. If you start craving something sweet eat some pineapple or some other kind of fruit!.
Just do me one favor!. Do not compare yourself to the other girls in your school or on tv!. You're not them!. and what may be good for them may not necessarily be good for you!. You are not incredibly overweight!.!.!.in fact you are just overweight!.!.!.you're not obese!.!.!.but you need to change your lifestyle now to not become that!. Well, i think it depends on your body structure!. For example, do you have thick bones, or are the realitivly small!. I am 12 years old, am 5'6 and weigh 153!. My bones are made about middle-large!. Either way, I don't think you are SUPER over wieght, maybe only a couple of pounds!. If you want to lose some, just try doing my excersise things everyday!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

yes u are over weight u should drop about 25 pounds to get around nolrmal (just dongt eat more calories than wat u burn

u can still eat alot it just has to be healthy with little calories

and eat healthy!. eat lots of fruit and its
