Question: How much weight can I lose eating one meal every two days!?
I weigh 174 pounds, and am 5"3!.!.!. at 50% bodyfat!. I have to go 48 hours without food before I start to feel hungry so I decided I woud eat one whopper from mcdonalds every two days until I get down to 90 pounds!. Then I'm going to do cardio and work out in the gym!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

One major problem with your theory!. Actually, several!.

First off, if you eat once every two days, your body will realize that it isn't receiving nutrients, thus it will attempt to store the nutrient it has!.!. basically your body will go into starvation mode and store what you want to lose as long as possible!.

Secondly, fast food is very unhealthy!.!.!. eating only once every 48 hours would deprive you of nutrients horribly, but if you eat something like THAT for your solitary meal!. it would have only calories and fat to store, the things you need the least of!.

Thirdly, 90 pounds is not a healthy weight for someone who is 5'3!.

What I propose is you CUT OUT McDonalds and other fast food chains, stop drinking sodas if you drink them!.!. drink a lot of water, eat an abundance of fresh veggies and fruits!.!.!. Eat 6 or 7 SMALL meals a day!.!. an apple here, a small salad there!.!. When you eat, you gain energy which runs your metabolism, which burns fat and calories!. If you keep your body boosted off of GOOD calories, your metabolism stays up!. You will lose weight, feel better, and become healthier while doing so!.

The Cardio workout is a very good idea!. Cardio, and if your goal is ONLY to lose weight, I would stay away from lifting weights, since muscle weighs more than fat; however, if you want to lose FAT more so than weight and look toner, more fit, I would mix Cardio with some type of weight regiment!.

I was past 300 pounds a little over one year ago!. I am now 170lbs at 5'6!.

I am also 15 percent body fat whereas before I was on up there!.

It's not the calories people are against mate!.!.!.it's the lack of nutrition in whoppers!. You're talking about fastfood here!. To answer your question, you could lose around 2-4 lbs in a week, but it depends!. In my experience, I lost that much in my teens, but I starved and exercised at the same time-NOT good!. What I don't get these days is why people are so concerned abt weight alone!. YES, you'll lose weight, but think abt it, most of the weight you'll lose initially is just water weight!. Your body will eventually catch up, lower metabolism, then you reach a plateau and eventually stop losing weight!. In discouragement, you'll start eating again and you gain back all the weight-worse part is you'll gain MORE!.

Read up on Omega 3 essential fatty acids!. They are good fats -necessary- for normal growth and development, and has shown to help people lose weight!. Best source is fish, which many Americans lack in their diet!. Good luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Have you thought you might have an eating disorder!? Considering eating one meal every 48 hours which consist of a hamburger, one is not healthy, two is not a meal!. If you do not feel hungry for up to 48 hours why!? There is an underlying reason for this, you need to find out, that is not healthy!. Your metabolism slows down if your body is not getting food!. The brain tells the body to store fat and slow metabolism because it feels it is starving and will need it because it does not know when it will receive food later!. Eat small healthy portions several times a day to get to a healthy weight and excersise but dont over due it!. Your body needs to survive on so many calories and fat!. I use to starve myself and not eat for weeks when i was anorexic!. I use to be belemic and anorexic and went through extensive therapy and then taught people on disorders!. Starving your body from the things that it needs is not good!.!. Why dont you try eating 3 meals a day!.!. For breakfast why dont you make yourself like 1 egg and some toast or a really yummy non fatning cereal!.!. for lunch have something like a sandwich!.!.!.and for dinner make it a real dinner with one meat product and some veggies or fruits!. Okay, whoppers will not help you lose weight no matter how infrequently you eat them!. Based on the information you've provided a better question would be, 'how long before I pass out from lack of food and energy!?'

You metabolism needs food - the RIGHT foods - to get it notched up!. These foods do not include whoppers!. You need to eat 3 small meals and 2 snacks each day!. Exercise every day, even if it's only for 30 minutes!. Alternate your workouts to include weight lifting AND cardio!. Muscle burns more calories than fat!. Include proteins in your diet!. Things such as chicken breast, lean pork, a small steak are great additions!. Limit your carbs ans starches!. Add a minimal amount of fruits and a lot more veggies!.

Dieting isn't rocket science, it's a life change and if you aren't committed to changing your life, you won't succeed!. Whoppers will not change your life in a positive way and that's a REALLY bad way to lose weight!. Do it the right way!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Just in case you aren't joking please realize that what you are suggesting is unhealthy and dangerous!.

A diet that works will include a variety (that's VARIETY) of foods (none of which will be whoppers) and regular exercise!. I not gonna sit here and pretend to know your situation fully so I'm gonna say that if you are seriously considering this plan of yours, you should seriously (that SERIOUSLY) consider calling an eating disorder helpline!. Leave the s*itburgers alone and eat a broad range of healthy foods (a little fruit and veg won't kill you believe me) and you can eat a couple of meals a day and still lose weight!.

Are you serious!? This will do nothing but make you seriously ill!. If you eat once every two days your stomach will actually begin to bloat, and the fact that your one meal would be a whopper meal is completely ridiculous!. That's the worst thing you could eat!. That is absolutley ridiculous!. if you starve your body like that, everytime you eat your body will store every single gram of fat and burn it off at a very slow rate, meaning you will not lose weight and even GAIN weight!. Initially you may lose weight doing that!. BUT - you WILL gain it back - as your metabolism will drop BIGTIME!. Then when you DO eat - your body will automatically store whatever it can to fat because it knows you are starving it!. You will be MUCH more successful if you eat 5-6 SMALL, healthy meals every day!. Drink a lot of water!. The not eating method is a horrible myth!. Don't do it!!

skipping breakfast are the worse, it lowers your testo level and lower metabo rates, it makes you fat to skip breakfast, yea cardio is good for fat burning but bear in mind, use more than you take, stop eating fast food, try something else that is healtier!. low fat and never get into a no fat diet!. good luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

OMG! Please don't go this route!. You will only be making yourself unhealthy and sick!. I know that it sounds crazy, but you will have more success if you eat more!. Let me explain!. When you stop eating for extended periods of time, your body goes into starvation mode and your metabolism shuts down to conserve fat to survive!. You need to eat regularly to keep your metabolism humming and burning calories, as well as giving you the energy to make it to the gym for cardio!. Eat 4-5 small, well-balanced meals (lean protein, veggies & whole-grains) throughout the day, with a couple of small snacks (yogurt, fruit, veggies w/ light dip, etc!.!.!.) in between those meals!. I know that your thinking that because you're eating all the time, you will never lose weight, but as long as it's the right foods and you are exercising, you WILL lose weight!. Please trust me, I have tried your way, but the best way is to take care of yourself and find a way to become healthier for the long term, not get-skinny-quick techniques where you will end up gaining it all back and then some!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
