Question: I've been doing crunches and other workouts for my abs!.
Lately whenever I sneeze it hurts a bit!. Does that mean the workout is working!? And is that normal!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
If you just started to do ab workouts, this is completely normal!. The first few times it will hurt when you sneeze or laugh or even cough!. It should get better as you continue to exercise your abs!. If it doesn't, definitely see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If your abs are hurting when you sneeze, this could mean that you've over-exerted yourself in your workouts!.

It is normal for your muscles to ache somewhat after rigorous exercise, but if the pain is this intense, you may want to listen to your body -- it may be telling you to relax for a few days to let it adjust to your new exercise regime! Also, if you're just starting these exercises, you may want to consider going easy on yourself for the first few days at a pace that feels okay to you!.
If the pains continue over a long period of time, I advise you to consult your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It mean's your still sore from the last workout!. Put at least 24 hours between the ab workouts, i!.e- do them every other day, until you can do them every day without pain!. Most muscles require a 48 period between workouts, but I think abs can be done everyday if you work up to it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

If it hurts when you sneeze, then you must be extremely sore from working out!. Otherwise, you may want to see a doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
