Can stress alone stop weight loss?!


Question: Can stress alone stop weight loss!?
I have lost 18 pounds and have another 20 before I'll be happy!. I lost the 14 pounds fairly quickly before a vacation just by watching my calories and taking walks!. I was very excited for my vacation and when I got back I was still so happy from vacation mode that I lost another 4 pounds within 2 weeks of being back!.

I've been stressed as normal, but still watching my calories and taking my walks like I did before, but the scale isn't moving!. Can the stress alone cause this!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Most people find that it's easy to lose the first ten or twenty pounds, but the last ten or twenty can be extremely stubborn!. Stress might be a part of it, because stress hormones can cause your body to hold on to weight (it's basically storing energy in case you need to fight something off - a biologically/evolutionary survival skill)!.

However, your body has also adjusted to your diet and exercise regimen, and to see results, you're going to have to kick it up a few notches!. Start adding weight-training and more intense cardio activities (running, jogging, aerobics, biking, etc) to your walking routine!. Keep watching your calories as you bump up your exercise!. Yes, stress can cause your weight to stay where it is or make you gain!. You probably lost the weight while on vacation b/c you were enjoying yourself and not worrying about it!. As I've told alot of people, don't look at the scale!. I'm sure you know that muscle weighs more than fat!. Best thing to do is stop stressing over your weight and start measuring yourself!. I'll first start off by saying!.!.!.!.!.do not worry about!.!.!.!.because the same thing happened to me!.!.!.!.I lost 40lbs in a 5months!.!.!.!.!.so I do know somewhat about what your going through!.!.!.!.!.!.!.
Sometimes!.!.!.!.!.When your on a diet for about a month and a half-2 months!.!.!.!.!.your body justs really slows down and stops burning fat(which then prevents you from losing weight)!.!.!.!.!.
So, what I did was I cheated for about 2 or 3 days!.!.!.!.and I tried my best to get back on my diet!.!.!.!.!.!.!.(in which I did after a while)!.!.!.!.then I start to lose about 5 lbs in a week like you did at the beginning of your diet!.!.!.!.!.the only thing about doing this is you have to try not to get really addicted to sweets and junk food again(which we all know is extremely hard)!.!.!.!.!.!.but this trick does work!.!.!.!.!.just think of it this way!.!.!.!.!.your body is like a gaming system(i know it sounds weird)!.!.!.!.but if you put the game into the system and it doesnt work you have to take the game out and put in back in and see if it works!.!.!.!.
thats what you have to do!.!.!.!.you have to restart your body(make your body think your gonna eat junk food for a long time but then shock your body by going back on your diet)!.!.!.!.!.try it what have you got to loose
