Question: How many calories should I eat in one day!? 1,800 What happens if you eat less then that!.
I normally only eat like 900 callories max but I still gain weight!. Like today I ate /drank
1 16 oz flavored water 40 callores
1/2 cup soup 120 callories

900 calories is far too few and your body is desperately trying to hang on to nutrition!. You're starving! Depriving your body of calories will put your metabolism into a near hibernation state!. The best way to lose weight and maintain your metabolism is to INcrease your calorie intake while also exercising so that your body doesn't just store it as fat since it is used to being starved!. 1,800 calories/day is probably ideal for weight loss!. You should calculate your bmr, which is your basal metabolic rate, and it is how many calories you would burn if you did nothing but sleep all day!.

A pound equals 3500 calories, so if You have a 500 calorie deficit each day then you would be set to lose a pound a week!.

The less calories you take in in one day, the greater the chance of you losing weight!. Simple as that!. The main idea, though, is to find a way to still get the right amount of calories your body needs to stay healthy while still not taking in enough to cause you to gain weight!.
