No i don't think it will!.
You need to walk 10'000 steps a day just to maintain a weight so i would recommend you do some extra exercise if you are trying to lose 20 pounds!. But no amount of exercise will help if you aren't eating healthily so look at your diet too!. I would suggest you start off with 20-30 mins of extra exercise 3 or 4 times a week!. Walking alone will not do much!. Unless you are massively unfit, it may help for a few weeks but you will eventually need to do more anyway!. The mor you do the better it will work!.
