I don't really want to eat anymore...!


Question: I don't really want to eat anymore!.!.!.
I don't know why, but I just don't want to eat anymore!. I don't even notice any hunger pains or anything, and I basically force myself to eat at least twice a day!.!.!. but after I eat I feel sick and I feel like barfing!.

Is this a normal phase of life!? I'm 18 and I use to be overweight but I have lost a lot of weight (about 20 pounds since May) when I started exercising!.!.!. I did go on a diet but it wasn't really strict and it was basically just refusing to eat any snacks or soda and my food intake, other than that, was basically the same!.!.!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

you could subconsiously be afraid of gaining the weight back that's why it's physically making you sick!. it happened to me in high school i lost like 40lbs and i was the same way but be carefull because that's how i became anorexic and then you're metabolism totally sucks and you gain weight and it's harder to lose the weight again!. try eating 4 small meals a day to start out with, or very light meals so it doesnt make you so sick to your stomachWww@Answer-Health@Com

This is strange, but maybe you are just going through a short phase since you have lost so much weight, your body might be adjusting to eating different amounts!. Although you don't want to, you need to eat at least 1200 calories!. Maybe you are eating too much at once!? Try to break down eating into 6 small meals a day so you dont have to force so much down your throat at once!.

the normal human body burns around 100 calories per hour!. so you should shoot for this!. if you have trouble eating you could try mixing your own shake!. Maybe with frozen berries and some protein powder!. More than likely being on an extended diet has killed your metabolism!. It will come back with a little time!. If the diet you were on was cutting out carbs your metabolism will sputter and die very quickly!. when cutting carbs they must be cycled so 2 days restricted 1 day unrestricted!. Or 200 carbs two days 300 carbs 1 day!. something along that line!. you may feel bloated while doing this but your not gaining any weight

I have the same problem!.
I'm 18 as well, and I don't have an appetite for anything!.
I would suggest just snacking (fruits & veggies)!.
If I try to eat a full meal, I feel sick the rest of the day!.
All I've eaten today was an orange, tomato, and strawberries!.
I feel fine!.
