Not at all, it's completely normal!. To go by standard healthy (starting off at 100, and adding 5 pounds to every inch) weight, a normal weight for someone 5ft 4in is 120, but I think that is aimed at adult women!. And yes, when he hits puberty, he will get taller and heavier, but by age 15 he should have lost his "baby fat", and grow into his teenage body (which will probably be quite slim, based on what he is now)!. He is completely fine, not overweight in the slightest!Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would always check BMI but for his height and weight; he is undoubtedly not overweight!. You may want to explore his feelings on this and understand why he feels overweight!. More and more teen boys are being diagnosed with eating disorders and that is something that is very scary!. He is still growing and will go through the growth spurt and then weight gain and will probably feel like a see saw!. I say 100 lbs for the first 5 feet and then 5 lbs for each additional inch!. Best of luckWww@Answer-Health@Com

He is actually doing fine because his bmi is 20 and that is the lower side of normal which means he is closer to being underweight rather that overweight/"fat"Www@Answer-Health@Com

He's alright ! he should actually get more weight in him, probably, he should be 115-130 , for his height that's the best thing !Www@Answer-Health@Com
