Question: So is the Food Pyramid wrong!? [carbohydrates]
Carbs (pasta, rice, bread, etc !.!.!.) have a lot of calories, right!? So why are they at the bottom of the pyramid!?

OKAY!. I am so SICK of hearing about carbs!.

Here is the deal with them!. You need Carbs!. If you lose weight from cutting carbs, it will only last until you stop cutting carbs!.

Carbs are important, you need a certain amount to burn fat!. You need them for respiration!. You won't be able to work out to your full potential if you cut carbs!.

There is also the matter of people not really understanding the fact that there are good carbs and bad ones!. And it's all common sense!.

Apple!? Good carb!. Bread!? Good carb!. Pasta!? Good carb!.

Cupcake!? Bad carb!. Potato chip!? Bad carb!.

The food pyramid isn't wrong, trust me!. Carbohydrates aren't bad!.!.!.Carbohydrates that go along with things like oreos and hamburgers are bad!.

It's very simple!. Just eat healthy! Www@Answer-Health@Com

No its right! most of your diet should be complex carbohaydrates! There is only one way exercise a lot and drink a lot of water the same amount in ounces as you weigh everyday and only eat oatmeal for breakfast one serving it only a cup of rice for lunch with a six ounce serving of meat!. Snacks are OK between meals it allows you so eat less during the meals!. the snacks must be only apples, oranges or bananas!. Eat dinner at six every day eating to late makes you gain weight!. A late snack is OK!. Dinner should not exceed 500 calories!. I followed this plan and lost forty pounds in 50 days!. But i also worked out 3 hours a day six days a week and worked full time night shift in a very physical job!. But i followed the plan very strictly and your body needs a lot of water to metabolize fatWww@Answer-Health@Com

My own personal opinion is that it's political and money related, promoted by the grain industry!. I could simply not eat as the pyramid says I should; I would weight 500 lbs!. Vegetables should be at the bottom, followed by fruit, followed by whole grain carbohydrates and legumes in one group, then meat, then fat and sugar!. I got chewed out by my doctor about cutting out all those carbs and only getting them from veggies, fruit, and some beans and grains, but the weight comes off and my bloodwork looks good!. The whole-grain versions are the ones you're supposed to eat!. They provide many wonderful nutrients to the body!. The food pyramid isn't wrong!. It's based on sound research!.!.!.you can trust it!. Stick to the recommended servings and understand what each serving amounts too!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Who knows!. It seems to change every few years!. I think people just need to use common sense!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
