1.5KG dumbell weights?!


Question: 1!.5KG dumbell weights!?
I'm trying to lose weight (healthily) so I bought myself a cheap set of 1!.5KG/3!.3lb dumbells!.

However, I don't really know what to do with them besides lifting my arm outwards or upwards then curling!. Surely there is more than those 2 moves!?

Anyone got any advice, what do you do with them!?

Answers:
Hold one (or both depending on how strong you are) above your head with both hands and stretch over to the left and then over to the right!.

Lunges with dumbbells
Grasp a dumbbell with each hand!.Hold the dumbbells at the sides of the body with arms fully extended (palms facing your torso)!. Step forward with the lead leg (stepping leg), keeping the back erect!. Bend the knee of lead leg until it has reached a 90 degree angle!. At this point, the knee of the back leg should be approximately 2 to 3 inches from the floor!. When fully lowered, push forcefully with the lead leg and return to the starting position !.Repeat the exercise with your other leg, and continue to alternate until the desired number of repetitions is completed!. Remember that a shorter lead step allows more emphasis to be placed on the quadriceps muscles and a larger step places more emphasis on the gluteal and hamstring muscles

Stand with a dumbbell in each hand, with your feet flat on the floor and about shoulder width apart!. Toes should be slightly turned out!. Slowly descend until the upper legs are parallel to the floor!. Your movement should be backward and down as if you were sitting into a chair!. Push back up to the starting position!.
Key points to remember
When standing, avoid locking the knees straight!. Keep the knees from moving in front of your toes!. Avoid leaning forward!. Keep the abdominals tight and the lower back in a neutral position!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
