Even as a vegetarian, you are much safer by eating small, regular meals, and maintaining an adequate fluid intake!. Tap water is best, and if you want to add a bit of taste, a couple drops of lemon juice!. (8 glasses of water a day) Protein alternatives, not a bunch of pills that only add income to the producers pockets are good - by this, I mean beans, lentils, etc!.

Watch out for so called 'diet foods!.' It is more nutritious and less expensive, and more to your tastes, when you prepare the foods yourself, and you don't have unwanted and unneeded additives!.

You did not indicate how much (true) vegetarian you are, but unless you are a confirmed vegan, eggs and milk products are good sources of protein, also!. Nuts are good, too, in natural state, say roasted without salt and they do provide an interesting crunch to salads!.

Plenty of fresh fruits and veggies (not the canned stuff) provide adequate nutrition Also, avoid salt and any of the box mixes that are high in sodium!.

I am not a strong advocate of imitation vitamins providing you eat a balanced diet, and even as a vegetarian, this is possible!. You indicated you are eating healthy foods!. this is good!. Just use a variety that appeals to your tastes!.

Two pound a week is a safe loss, because it comes off gradually, and your metabolism gradually becomes used to smaller, more frequent meals!. Calorie counting helps, but be careful of the hidden, worthless calories, such as in pop and a lot of those carbonated, flavored bottle water!. Energy bars, such as the protein supplements do add a lot of calories you don't really need and often are a major contributor of carbs and fats!.

You do need a moderate amount of carbs and fat in your diet, but keep in mind that a balanced diet is most appropriate, coupled with good exercise on a regular basis!. Notice, I said exercise in moderation!. And do allow yourself time to warm up and cool down every time!.

Make meal times ones to enjoy and don't grab a bite on the run, sit and enjoy each meal, without reading or watching tv!. By drinking at least a glass of water before each meal, you will feel fuller and not be tempted to eat too much!. Use good portion control, and no seconds!.

Watch hidden calories on salad bars - dressing, etc!.Above all, DO NOT ELIMINATE DESSERTS, you need them, but fruits and fruit ices are good, and will satisfy your sweet tooth!. If you eliminate all of your food preferences, your meals will become hum- drum and monotonous!. Allow yourself some variety!.

Good luck and healthy eating!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

You need to excersize to help loose weihgt Try running !.5 miles 4 times a week and every morning and evening do 70 crunches!. If you can go to a gym and run/ jog on a treadmill you want to try to burn as many calories as possible and burn fat!. Stay away from saturated fat, eat natural foods NO Preeservatives, If you are a vegiterrian then eat almonds wich are a good source of protien and fill you up!. The fats that you want to look for are mono and poly saturrated fats these are the good for you fats!!

I hope this helps andGood luck!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
